Penzance Veterinary Clinic is a well-established small animal practice located on Main Road, Hout Bay — right on the doorstep of the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive.
We proudly provide compassionate veterinary care to pets across Hout Bay, Llandudno, Camps Bay, Constantia, and Noordhoek.

Our primary focus is on general veterinary care for dogs and cats, but we’re also happy to welcome a variety of exotic pets, including rabbits, hamsters, and birds.

For more complex cases, we work closely with a trusted network of veterinary specialists across Cape Town to ensure access to advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, and medical expertise.

Founded in 1996 by Dr Bruce Stevens, Penzance Veterinary Clinic has become a trusted name in the Hout Bay community. In 2013, the practice was taken over by Dr Stephan Mauch and Dr Brendan Brady, who have since expanded both the clinic and its client base.

We are committed to providing high-quality veterinary care grounded in the latest scientific knowledge — all within a friendly, professional, and supportive environment.

Our veterinary team continues to grow. Dr Sophia Moosa joined the practice in early 2018, followed by Dr Nicola Nieuwenhuis in 2022.
